Dunster House Messiah Sing
Annual Dunster House Messiah Sing concert will be held on December 13th, 2007, 8-10pm, in Dunster House dining hall. This is a sing-a-long concert, where the audience can sing the chorus to join the soloists, accompanied by the Mozart Society Orchestra. Everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is free.
For directions to Dunster House, please refer to www.dunster.harvard.edu. You can enter through G-entryway on Cowperthwaite street side of the building.

Library Recital by Ed Gazouleas (Violist, Boston Symphony Orchestra)
Violist Ed Gazouleas from the Boston Symphony Orchestra will perform sonatas by Hindemith and Brahms in the Dunster House Library. With pianist Pei-Shan Lee. Admission is free.

Ed Gazouleas, third chair violist of the Boston Symphony and Assistant Principal of the Boston Pops is also an active chamber music player. He has appeared regularly with the Boston Conservatory Chamber Players, the Boston Symphony Chamber Players, new music group Collage and in solo recitals A prize winner in the International String Quartet competition in Evian, France, he is now on the faculties of Boston University College of Fine Arts and the Boston Conservatory. He attended Yale and the Curtis Institute where his teachers were Michael Tree and Karen Tuttle.

There are many opportunities for you to perform for the rest of the House throughout the semester. Currently, we have three potential dates :

Dunster Library Concert Dec 2 7:30-8:30PM
DEADLINES:
For Open House performances, please email us (dmusic@hcs.harvard.edu) 2 weeks prior to the performance.
For the December library concert, please see the following due dates:
Oct 30 -- Email us (dmusic@hcs.harvard.edu) the names of people who will perform and the type of music you're interested in.
Nov 14 -- Email us the title of the piece(s) you're performing for the program (5-10min per performance)
Also, if you have any new ideas for performances, please share them with us!
