DVC DETAILS
The Dunster Video Collection is located in the Dunster Grille!
The Video Library includes more than 200 DVDs (plus 200 VHS titles) for Dunster students to borrow.
- BORROWING: Movies are borrowed for two (2) days.
- MEMBERSHIP: Students who buy the $15 membership will be entitled to borrow one (1) movie at a time for free AND have a movie of their choice added to the collection. If you would like to trade a movie for a membership, please contact the Video Czars.
- REGULAR FEE: The fee to borrow a movie without a membership is $2. This fee also applies to members who are borrowing more than one movie at a time.
- LATE FEES: In order to keep the collection circulating, late fees are $1/day and apply to BOTH members and non-members. Please pay them promtly.
- RENEWALS: Members will be granted a renewal IF they request one via e-mail BEFORE it's due.
- LOST OR DAMAGED MOVIES: A lost or damaged movie will be fined a replacement and restocking fee, which will be no less than $15. Rentals accruing late fines beyond their cost of replacement will be considered lost (and may be unreturnable).
- VACATION SUPER-RENTALS: One day before vacations (excluding summer vacations and three-day weekends), members are entitled to borrow multiple titles, due one day after the vacation ends. Consult the Czar for details.
- Please note: Members must borrow their movies in person and are responsible for movies borrowed under their name.
LOCATION AND HOURS
The DVC is located in The Grille, which is open every night (10pm-1am Sun-Thu and 12am-2am Fri-Sat). If you ever need a movie when the Grille is not open, try calling or e-mailing the Czars. If possible, they will try to get the movies for you.
