ISSUES OF THE WEEK
Hoorah for Reading Period!!!
As all of you know, reading period officially begins on Thursday, May 2, so no parties are allowed from May 3 until the end of exam period. The House tries to maintain an atmosphere of quiet and study during this time, so be sensitive to your neighbors in suites and public spaces. Along with parties, loud music and late night courtyard conversations (even at a regular volume) are also not allowed. Thanks for your cooperation!

ISSUES FOR THE WEEK
Dual Submission
If you would like to turn in similar work to more than one course, you must get prior written permission of the instructors involved. Since each paper you turn in is expected to be written specifically for the assignment, failure to get written permission is deceptive, and students who do it are ordinarily required to withdraw by the Administrative Board. Instructors do not always give permission, and they often expect a longer or somewhat different paper when they do give permission. If you have any questions, please see me.

ISSUES OF THE WEEK:
In Absentia Exams are not automatically granted, so you must petition the Ad Board if you think you will need to take an exam in absentia. Petitions must be filed at least one month in advance. Please see me if you have any questions.
Extensions: An extension beyond the end of Exam Period for the completion of written work can be granted ONLY by a vote of the Ad Board. There is no such thing, then, as an “incomplete” for written work for Harvard undergraduates.
