ISSUES OF THE WEEK
Mid-Semester Blues
This is the time to take stock of where you are with your courses, and to rally if you feel like you are falling behind or are having problems with your schoolwork. Do not hesitate --nor be afraid-- to reach out to your professors, TFs, tutors, and myself.
Academic Honesty
Let me underscore how important it is to be honest about the work you submit –papers, problem sets, presentations– now that we are coming to the close of the semester, and crunch time begins. The University takes accusations of academic dishonesty very seriously, and expects that its students will always submit work of their own authorship, and not work that is done by other students, with or without their knowledge, or from the web. If you have questions about what this means, please ask me.
