Music
Dunster abounds with music; the House has a long tradition of music-making, and music continues to be an integral part of House life. Many members of the Dunster community are involved in some way with playing, singing, composing, producing, and enjoying live music. Musical events include:
Dunster House Opera Society
The Dunster House Opera Society (DHO) was founded by Dunster students in 1992 and is open to all undergraduates. It is an entirely undergraduate organization whose goal is to provide the Harvard community with exposure to opera as both a valuable art form and as an accessible, enjoyable form of entertainment. Past productions have included Candide, The Magic Flute, and The Marriage of Figaro. For more information visit the DHO website: http://www.hcs.harvard.edu/~dho.
Drama
Through Dunster HoCo, producers can seek funding and rehearsal space for shows in the House. Priority is given to Dunster students and applications from Dunster students will be accepted at all times during the year.
