Welcome Back 2007-2008
WELCOME BACK 2007-2008!
Everyone,
To those of you coming to Dunster for the first time.. WELCOME!! To those of you returning to Dunster: WELCOME BACK!!
Please read below for helpful information about moving into Dunster House. Most answers can be found here.
Checking In:
When you arrive on campus, come to the Building Manager's office to get your room key and a welcome letter that contains important information including your mailbox number and combination. You can also get toilet paper, trash bags, molding hooks, and Harvard-approved adhesives at the Building Manager's office.
ID Cards:
The ID card that you received last fall is your permanent Harvard ID card while you are a student. BRING IT WITH YOU when you return to school!!! If you've lost your ID card over the summer, then you'll need to visit the ID Office on the 9th floor of the Holyoke Center and pay for a replacement card.
Decorating Your Suite:
Please don't use nails, tacks, picture hooks, tape, or other objects/adhesives that create holes in a surface. You can get poster gum or molding hooks and picture wire for free in the Building Manager's office. PLEASE DO NOT PAINT YOUR SUITE OR YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY HARVARD CONTRACTORS TO REPAINT IT!
Getting Online:
Please direct any questions about setting up or maintaining your network connection to the Computer Services Help Desk at 5-9000 or help@fas.harvard.edu. You can also visit http://www.fas.harvard.edu/computing/kb/kb0128.html for more information.
Plan accordingly and good luck getting back.
