Today, March 27th is the last day upon which May 2017 and November 2017 degree candidates may file a foreign language citation. The form must be received at the Registrar’s Office by 5 pm.

Final Exam Deadlines and Policies
Final Exam Schedule
The Spring 2017 Three-Hour Exam Schedule is available on the Registrar’s website.

Conflict with Another Exam
If you have a conflict between exams on the Three-Hour Exam Schedule, we are aware of your conflict and will automatically resolve it by scheduling a separate time for you to take one of the exams within 24 hours of the original exam time (this is referred to as an out of sequence exam). The details for out of sequence exams will be sent mid-April, and no student action is needed to facilitate this process. If you have a conflict involving an exam that does not appear on the Three-Hour Exam Schedule, please email immediately, as student action is required.

Exams In Absentia
Students requesting to take an exam In Absentia must submit a petition to the Administrative Board (facilitated by your Allston Burr Assistant Dean) and an Application for In Absentia Examination. The application is due to the Exams Office at the same time as the Administrative Board petition and must be completed in its entirety before it may be submitted. You are responsible for finding a suitable proctor to administer the exam In Absentia. Contact your Allston Burr Assistant Dean or the Registrar’s Office if you have questions about finding a proctor. If you are taking more than one exam In Absentia you must submit a separate application for each course.

Request for Rescheduled (Out of Sequence) Exam due to Religious Observance
To reschedule an exam due to a religious observance conflict, complete the Religious Out of Sequence Exam Request Form by Tuesday, April 4th. Conflicts reported after the deadline may not be possible to accommodate or may result in a makeup exam scheduled for the following term.

Accessible Education Office
Students who are already registered with the Accessible Education Office (AEO) and currently receive accommodations will receive final exam information from the Registrar’s Office in mid-April. If you are not currently registered with AEO but anticipate needing disability- or health-related accommodations for final exams, contact AEO by Tuesday, April 4th or exam accommodations will not be possible. Only newly acquired injuries or unanticipated illnesses may be accommodated after the April 4th deadline. Please contact AEO at with any questions.

Students leaving the College by this date are charged one half of tuition and the Student Services Fee. After this date, students will be charged three quarters of those costs. See the chart under Financial Information for details of room and board charges.

Final degree applications for May 2017 Degree Candidates due.

Last day to change concentration without Administrative Board approval for May 2017 and November 2017 Degree Candidates.

Last day upon which May 2017 and November 2017 degree candidates may submit an approved foreign language citation study plan to the Office of the Registrar.

Advanced Standing-eligible students planning to graduate after six or seven terms in May 2018 or November 2018, or to begin a fourth year AM program in fall term 2018, must file the Advanced Standing Activation Form by this date.

Last day upon which May 2017 and November 2017 Degree Candidates may submit an approved petition for a secondary field to the Office of the Registrar.

Applications for degree credit for study out of residence for the summer are due at the Office of International Education.

Declaration of Concentration due for out-of-phase members of the Class of 2019.

Last day of spring term classes.

Students leaving the College after this date are charged full housing/room fees.

Students leaving the College by this date are charged three quarters of tuition, and the Student Services Fee. After this date, students will be charged the full amount of those costs.

Last day in the spring term upon which undergraduates will ordinarily be granted a leave of absence from the College.

Hi everyone, my name is Diana Hovsepian and I am the academic coordinator in Dunster House. I have been working here since 2009: helping with your academic questions and issues, managing student records, organizing and helping with House events and Commencement. I also am here to aid you in coordinating your medical school application process and getting your recommendations in order, so please visit me if you have any questions.
