Drinking and Smoking in Public Spaces
Please remember that drinking is not allowed in the public spaces of the House and smoking is not allowed, by University policy, anywhere in the House. Thanks for your cooperation.

October 31, Friday
Students leaving the College by this date are charged one half of tuition and the Student Services Fee. After this date, students will be charged three quarters of those costs.

November 5, Wednesday
Pre-Term Planning for undergraduates opens.

November 10, Monday
Deadline for students in the fall term to notify the College they are not returning to the College housing for the spring term without financial penalty.

Deadline to submit a Housing Contract Cancellation form for students who have submitted a Returning Student Housing Application for the spring term without financial penalty.

Deadline to submit a spring term Inter-House Transfer Application.

November 11, Tuesday
University holiday: Veterans’ Day (observed for staff). Classes will be held on a regular Tuesday Schedule.

November 12, Wednesday
Plans of Study/Declaration of Concentration due for class of 2017.

Pre-Term Planning due for all undergraduates. Students who do not submit by this deadline will be charged a late fee.

November 17, Monday
Final degree applications for March 2015 Degree Candidates due.

Last day to change concentration for March 2015 Degree Candidates without Administrative Board approval.

Last day upon which March 2015 Degree Candidates may submit a completed and signed foreign language citation study plan to the Office of the Registrar.

Last day upon which March 2015 Degree Candidates may submit a completed and signed petition for a secondary field to the Office of the Registrar.

Advanced Standing-eligible students planning to graduate after six or seven terms in March 2016, or to begin a fourth year AM program in spring term 2015, must file Advanced Standing Activation Form by this date.

November 19, Wednesday
Pre-Term Planning for undergraduates closes at 11:59 pm.

November 26, Wednesday, through November 30, Sunday
Thanksgiving recess.

December 3, Wednesday
Last day of fall term classes.

Students leaving the College after this date are charged full housing / room fees.

December 4, Thursday
Students leaving the College by this date are charged three-quarters of tuition and the Student Services Fee. After this date, students will be charged the full amount of those costs

Last day in the fall term upon which undergraduates will ordinarily be granted a leave of absence from the College.

I have been the administrative assistant to the Dean since 2009: managing student records, answering your academic questions, and coordinating Commencement and other House events. Every Monday, I publish the Mooseletter in the dining hall and in your inboxes with news from our offices, which includes academic deadlines, upcoming House events, and information you will find useful. When I am not in Dunster, I am spending time with my family and two Boston Terriers in Bedford, MA.
