Mooseletter – September 24, 2018

From the Office of the Resident Dean – Michael Uy
I hope all of your classes and social activities are off to a great start! You know what else is off to a great start? DUNSTER IMS! We’ve had strong wins in Soccer, Flag Football, and Tennis! Come show your love for the moose in those sports, as well as Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball A&B. I’ll tell you, the highlight of my week was watching our tutor Emilie run the opening and closing touchdowns at Thursday’s match! She’s a sprinter! So if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines (or sitting at home), I’m telling you, now’s the time to get up and get involved. The high of winning will help you finish your psets even faster, I promise — or at least, I believe! IMs are also a great opportunity to meet new Dunster friends and get to know your community better. Friendship and Camaraderie > Skill and Talent. I hope to see many of you on the field/court. Please also remember that today (Sept. 24) is the deadline for add/drop without a fee. If you have pass/fail forms for me to sign, print the form and get the requisite signatures first, then come to my office. *Strong Moose*

About hovsep

Welcome back to Dunster! I have been the administrative assistant to the Dean since 2009: managing student records, answering your academic questions, and coordinating Commencement and other House events. I also am here to aid you in coordinating your medical school application process and getting your recommendations in order, so please visit me if you have any questions. Every Monday, I publish the Mooseletter in the dining hall and in your inboxes with news from our offices, which includes academic deadlines, upcoming House events, and information you will find useful. If you find that you have any questions about academics, need to get in contact with the Dean or just want to chat, please stop by! When I am not in Dunster, I am spending time with my family and two Boston Terriers in Bedford, MA. I also love reading, traveling, watching movies, and I am always on the lookout for recommendations if you have any! Let's have another great year in Dunster!
