Mooseletter - 2/8/21

From the Office of the Resident Dean, Michael Uy

After watching the Superbowl Halftime show this morning, I’m really scratching my head – The Weeknd allegedly spent $7 million of his own money, on top of Pepsi/NFL’s budget for the show, and couldn’t even get real violinists? What exactly was that money spent on?! The masks? I mean it’s hard to come after JLo and Shakira, but that Jeep commercial held my attention for a longer amount of time… But, I’m happy to continue the discussion on the Dunster Superbowl Slack if any of you feel compelled to come to his dfense…

While The Weeknd might not be on my recommendation list for Steven and the Race Relations Team’s Black History Month playlist, you can rest assured Beyoncé, TLC, and RuPaul are. I’m wishing everyone a continued thoughtful and celebratory February of Black excellence! This week, let’s also send Cheryl a very happy birthday!! and a joyous Lunar New Year J I hope this year of the ox is a time when our hard work and diligence are rewarded with prosperity and fidelity.

Today (8 February) is the last day to add/drop without a fee. (You still have until 22 February with a fee.) Like Fall 2020, the P/F deadline and withdraw deadline have been moved to the Eleventh Monday. You should have received instructions on completing P/F on my.harvard. Since the next mooseletter will come after the holiday, I’m also wishing you a good Presidents’ Day!
