Mooseletter-3/2/21

From the Office of the Resident Dean, Michael Uy

Deer Meese, Happy March! Happy Women’s History Month! I hope you had a restorative Wellness Monday <3 I know we’re in that time of the semester with midterms, psets, and theses. I hope you’re still finding ways to take care of yourself, whether that means PS5, ATVs, drinking chocolate, or something else. Maybe that “something else” could be Trivia Night this Friday the 5th at 6.30pm ET! Form a group with your friends – or contact me and I’ll help you form a group! – and show how smart you are, or how much you know about Netflix shows! The days are getting at least a little bit warmer here in Cambridge – the sun is out for a little bit longer. I’m more hopeful with the vaccination process and continued masking and social distancing, that we’ll have a much better summer this year than last. I’m sorry about the Commencement announcement for seniors, but we will try our best in the House to make it a memorable, interactive, and celebratory event. Please continue to be safe, stay healthy, and look after one another. Dunster Love.

Cookies & Conversations is part of Dunster’s faculty-student event series and is a great opportunity for you to invite a favorite professor to an evening of (virtual) conversation and (real) cookies! While this is a slightly different take on our traditional student-faculty dinners, the chance to gather in small groups with brilliant professors and engage in wide-ranging discussion is what makes this event so meaningful and enjoyable for faculty and students alike. All registered participants will be sent a cookie tin(!) in advance to enjoy at the event. (Apologies we are unable to ship internationally.)

When reaching out to invite your professors, kindly ask them to complete this address form by Sunday, March 7th so we can ship them a cookie tin!
