Academic Specialty: Engineering
Hey Dunster! My name is Bridger and I am excited to join you all as a resident tutor. I am a fourth year PhD candidate in Environmental Science and Engineering where I research the chemistry of toxic chemicals and their environmental behavior. I am from Denver, CO and my love for the environment started early (I was named after the mountain man Jim Bridger). I majored in environmental engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder where I was a Udall Scholar. I love to backpack, fish, and ski, and am more than happy to talk about good places to go in New England. I have also led several camping trips for people without previous outdoors experience, so if you are looking for general advice on where to start or a buddy to go with let me know! In and around Boston, I maintain my garden, brew kombucha, sew, print make, and go on runs along the Charles River. I can’t wait to meet (or e-meet) many of you starting in the Fall. I am happy to help out in any way I can regarding undergraduate fellowships, exploring the outdoors, or anything else!
