Hi Dunster! I am a third year PhD. student in the Chemistry and Chemical Biology department in GSAS at Harvard University. I work in the fascinating world that lies just beyond what you learn in CHEM17/27 or CHEM20/30. Under the direction of Prof. Andrew Myers, I construct complex chemical scaffolds that are designed as a targeted form of chemotherapy. For my undergraduate studies, I attended SUNY Binghamton (go Bearcats!) where I majored in Chemistry with a minor in Chemical Biology. Outside of the laboratory, I split my time generously between Hearthstone, Soundcloud/Spotify, Tik-Tok, rock climbing, and time with my family and friends. Please feel free to reach out to me at your convenience; I'm happy to discuss science concentrations, research opportunities at Harvard and beyond, post-baccalaureate considerations (pre-med versus PhD), or the newest album I'm jamming out to in the laboratory!
