Hi Dunster! My name is Noah (he/him), and I’m a doctoral student in the History Department. I grew up “out west,” near Springfield, Massachusetts, before coming to Harvard College, where I studied history and Romance languages & literatures as a proud Dunster Moose. I worked a smattering of jobs on campus and started a full-time gig as a policy director in the Massachusetts State Senate before moving abroad, on a Harvard–UK Fellowship, to pursue a master’s degree at Oxford. These days, my research revolves around race, violence, social movements, and the law. But when I escape the library, I love to get outside, stroll around Mount Auburn Cemetery, listen to jazz, and watch the best (and worst) movies out there. If you see me around the House, or if I can ever be helpful, please reach out and say hello. Looking forward to getting to know you!
