Hello, Dunster! The Wellness Tutors are available to you if you ever have questions relating to wellness matters. This semester we will be continuing our wellness discussion group. Each week we meet to discuss our reflections centered around a particular topic, article, or reading. We intend for this to be a space for us to engage in honest reflection and exploration about our beliefs (both conscious and not), our habits (both intentional and not), and discuss how to go about working on these and other aspects of our selves and lives that we might want to change in the service of living more fully and happily. The group meets on Sundays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on zoom. Check out the[ Dunster Events Calendar for details](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/dunster_house)!

The [Harvard Center for Wellness](https://wellness.huhs.harvard.edu/home) is also a great source of wellness related programming and resources. Be sure to check it out regularly!

**River East Neighborhood Wellness Initiative**

The Center for Wellness & Health Promotion (CWHP) at HUHS is excited to be offering a neighborhood-based wellness initiative in River East neighborhood this year, which features 1:1 Wellness Coaching Conversations and group wellness programming. These resources are open to students in Mather, Dunster and Leverett Houses (River East neighborhood) only at this time.

**Wellness Coaching Conversations**

Wellness Coaching conversations are free, confidential 1:1 health & wellbeing coaching sessions which offer support and structure for creating personal wellness vision & developing skills to feel healthy and well in everyday life. Wellness Coaching Conversations are not therapy and do not involve mental health diagnosis or treatment. Using mindfulness-based approaches that foster clarity and self-awareness, the Wellness Coach and student will work together to identify the areas of wellbeing in which the student wants support and feels ready to make changes, such as sleep, eating, stress, etc. You can expect to meet for about a month, and the coach will support the student in developing next steps for supporting wellness after the 4-session series is complete. Wellness Coaching Conversations are in-person (unless meeting via Zoom is necessary for specific reasons) and take place in meeting rooms in Mather, Dunster, and Leverett Houses (rotating schedule across different locations on different days of the week.) Students can book these appointments through the [HUHS patient portal ](https://huhs.harvard.edu/patient-portal#gsc.tab=0): they go to “appointments”, then “schedule an appointment” and select “wellness coaching” and follow the prompts there. Email Nina at <nbryce@huhs.harvard.edu> with any questions!

**River East Group Wellness Programs**

September Weekly Groups (all groups meet at Mather House and are open to Mather, Dunster, and Leverett Communities): Stay tuned for more details & sign-up links!

**Movement Mondays with Morgan**--4-week series featuring a variety of exercise

**Yoga with Shruthi (Sundays @ 5 pm)**--4-week yoga class series, student-led, open to all!

**Koru Mindfulness with Nina (Wednesdays @ 6 pm)**--4-week meditation practice group introducing the foundational skills of mindfulness meditation
