Hey Dunster! My name is Fariba Mahmud, and I am so thrilled to be in Dunster as a tutor this year.

I'm originally from St. George, Utah (near Zion National Park, the site of High School Musical 2, and the home of the dirty soda as seen on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives!). I graduated from the college in 2022 with a double concentration in History & Literature and Classics, a secondary in Psychology, and a Spanish language citation. During my time at Harvard, I was involved with Class Committee, HoCo, the South Asian Association, Ghungroo, and Eleganza. I also interned at the Women's Center and was a research assistant at Radcliffe. 

Since college, I have taught American Government and U.S. History to high schoolers through Teach for America in Baltimore and have just finished my first year at Harvard Law School! In my free time, I love planning events and get togethers for friends and family, watching the latest popular tv shows, and eating out at new places! Definitely stop me if you see me around, I am always excited to chat :)
