Fall (Round I) IHT Applications
The Fall 2024 Inter-House Transfer application is now open on the Residential Housing Portal.
The deadline for applications is Monday, February 5th, at 11:59 p.m.
Students are welcome to apply after having lived in their assigned House for two full terms by the time they transfer. Students can apply as individuals or in pairs.
Applying for an Inter-House transfer does not guarantee you will be accepted into your desired House(s).
If you’re approved for a transfer you are required to move.
If you miss the Round I deadline, you can apply for Round II before May 12. (Round II transfers cannot enter a House lottery to select a room.)

Fall Housing Cancellation
The (no fee) deadline to cancel your housing for the fall term is Tuesday, April 23, at 11:59 p.m.
If you’re considering canceling your housing for any reason, including to study abroad, move off-campus, or take a leave of absence, you will need to submit a cancellation form via the Residential Housing Portal.
Please note receiving approval for a voluntary leave or study abroad program does not automatically cancel your housing.
