First Gen Low Income & International (FGLII)

As First Gen Resident Tutors our aim is to create a supportive space for all students who identify as being first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) and International students. We FGLI tutors personally understand the experience that first-gen and low-income students go through: We often did not feel confident enough to reach out to professors and TAs, did not want to bother anyone when we were facing challenges big or small, or often felt like we did not fit into this elite world.

We want to share with you the lessons we learned along the way and support you to have the best possible experience here at Harvard.

Please reach out to us for any advice with regard to academics, your personal life, careers or anything else! We are here to help and support you.

Not sure if you are FGLII? Don’t worry about it! You are still welcome!
