Hi Meese! My name is Jared, and I am over-the-moon excited to be back in the Dunster community. I grew up just outside Boston and completed my undergraduate degree right here at Harvard— in Dunster! After graduating in 2019, I moved to the other Cambridge and obtained my M. Phil in the History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. I came back to Boston during the first year of the pandemic to work on vaccine distribution efforts before flying the coop once again to study in Spain. I received my Masters of Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics in July 2022. I focused on development and health economics.

Now based at MIT, I work on the Policy team at J-PAL, where we try to reduce poverty through scientific evidence. I am most passionate about global health and technological innovation, with many other interests in history, jazz, philosophy, AI, etc. I play trombone, some tuba, minimal violin, and enjoy running and playing ultimate.
