Hey everyone! I’m Rohan, and I’m very excited to be joining Dunster as a resident tutor! It’ll be my first time in Boston/Harvard, and I’d love to hear your expert tips for enjoying the university, the city, and especially for dealing with the cold.
I grew up in an Indian household in Dubai, UAE, enjoying a lovely blend of Indian and Middle Eastern culture. I moved to California for college, double-majoring in economics and data science at UC Berkeley. While there, I explored a range of interests, from startups/venture capital to big tech. I ultimately realized my true passion lies in academia, and I’m super thrilled to be starting my PhD at Harvard Economics this year. While I’m interested in many different facets of economics research, I’m best trained in behavioral economics, or the intersection of psychology and economics. Feel free to talk to me about being an international student, exploring different opportunities to figure out what you like, or anything in the economics/tech space in general.
