Mooseletter - 2/2/21

From the Office of the Resident Dean, Michael Uy
Deer Dunster, Greetings from a snowy and cold Cambridge (I’m a fairly predictable person. You can probably guess that I’ll make a comment about the weather, a Netflix show (at the moment, Bling Empire), or washing your hands… But yes, we might get a foot of snow and at some points over the weekend, it felt like -25C (the cold is best captured in Celsius).) I hope you had a good first week of classes and are now fully enrolled in your coursework! Double check your schedules so that you are in all the right ones. You have until February 1st to add/drop without a fee. Seniors, please complete your senior record checks and be in touch with Diana if you have any questions. I also hope everyone has a good first Wellness Day this Friday. It’s going to be a long semester, so take these moments to recharge or invest, even if it’s just the beginning. To practice what I preach, I will not be holding Friday student hours, but I have them Tuesday and Thursday. I’m sending you all lots of Dunster Love. Eat well, drink water, exercise, wash your hands, stay safe, and stop the spread of the virus.

(By the way, Moose and Mouse (the goldfish) are doing well – I’m slightly worried about them because I cleaned the algae out this weekend, but with an old sponge that may have had cooking bits on it – eek! The plants, are doing ok too.)
