Chase H. Harrison is Senior Preceptor in Survey Research in the Government Department, and Associate Director of the Program on Survey Research in the Institute for Quantitative Social Science.  He teaches courses in survey research targeted toward both undergraduate and graduate students, and advises on survey research methods for students and researchers across the university.  He previously served as Director of Research Computing at Harvard Business School, Chief Methodologist at the Center for Survey Research and Analysis at the University of Connecticut, Research Associate at the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research, and in a variety of positions at Market Strategies International.  He serves as a technical advisor to a variety of organizations, including the US Postal Service, the US National Park Service, and the US Department of Transportation.  He received his Ph.D. in Political Science and MA in Survey Research from the University of Connecticut, and his BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland and Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Chase would be delighted to talk with Dunster residents who are interested in designing or conducting surveys as part of courses, theses, or extra-curricular activities.
