David Carrasco

David Carrasco is an anthropologist and historian of religion who has done ground breaking work on Mesoamerican religion and culture. In addition to his wider contributions to Latin American studies, David is an engaged public intellectual who has been involved in important public and political dialogues with people like Toni Morrison, Cornell West, and Samuel P. Huntington. An avid sports fan, David is also Faculty Fellow for the Harvard Men’s Basketball team. He’s excited to be joining Dunster House for the Spring, and looks forward to meeting and chatting with as many of you as possible.
