Hello Dunster! I’m a 5th year PhD student in Harvard’s philosophy department, and I’m looking forward to joining the House community this year as a Resident Tutor. At Harvard, I’ve taught in both the philosophy department and the humanities program. My academic writing has focused on the Cartesian revolution in philosophy, Romantic responses to it, and various topics within metaphysics, epistemology, and moral psychology. Before coming to Harvard, I graduated from Yale in 2019 with a B.A. in English and Philosophy, something I now urge you to forget. I grew up in Northwestern New Jersey, the part that comes closest to justifying its dubious nickname (“The Garden State”). Music is also an important part of my life, and my primary instruments are the piano, the organ, and voice. Feel encouraged to introduce yourself if we run into each other around the House, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me over email (listed below) if I can ever be helpful.
